About Cascade Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine

Carolyn Grissom, MA, MAc, LAc, is a licensed acupuncturist and sound healer. She has been in practice since 1995, following graduation from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has been a faculty member at Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Carolyn earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from WWU, a Bachelor’s degree in Religious studies from Seattle University, and a Master's degree in Psychology from Seattle University.

John E. Hostetler,  MAc, LAc, has been a licensed acupuncturist since 1995, and has earned certificates in both Chinese Herbal Medicine and Pediatric Acupuncture.  He is a former teacher and pharmacist for the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  For the last 13 years John has enjoyed  private practice, while also serving as an acupuncturist in drug rehabilitation centers.
